WELCOME TO ST. TERESA
We, the Church of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus, are a community of Faith, centered in Christ Jesus and called to discipleship. Since our inception in 1931, we are deeply rooted in Catholic Tradition and reliant upon God's Spirit. We seek to move with the Church as it grows into the twenty-first century, giving flesh to the Gospel in our worship and throughout our lives.
Our patroness, born Thérèse Martin, became a Carmelite nun and took the name Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face to distinguish herself from St. Teresa of Jesus and the Holy Face of Avila, Spain. She spent her life in a convent in Lisieux, France. Because of looking at herself in God's garden as a little flower, she is also known as the Little Flower. We seek to imitate her Little Way as a heart member of the Body of Christ. (See Our Patroness for more).
We welcome you into our parish and encourage you to join us in the celebration of the holy sacraments of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
