Rainbow Table II |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In response to the perceived need for another community outreach to provide meals for the hungry, Central United Methodist Church invited the faith community to participate in this interfaith mission. Modeled on the original Rainbow Table, based at St. John Lutheran Church, Rainbow Table II began in the spring of 1998. Each participating church assumes the responsibility of setting up, preparing, serving and cleaning up for a wholesome meal every Tuesday evening. | ![]() |

| Rainbow Table II is funded through donations and is a completely volunteer organization. A major source of food is a monthly allotment from the Federal Government funneled through Second Harvest Food Bank at Catholic Social Services. However, Father Walling generously funds St. Teresa two months a year. In addition to providing meals, St. Teresa has assumed the responsibility of collecting and sorting warm clothing donated by member churches. These are distributed at the Thanksgiving meal. New volunteers are always needed. We particularly would love to have more cooks. Please contact the Parish Office at 342-8861, if you would be interested in volunteering or if you have any questions. |

St.Francis said, "I HAVE DONE WHAT IS MINE TO DO, NOW YOU DO WHAT IS YOURS TO DO". The Our Lady of Mercy Fraternity gathers monthly, at St. Joseph Church and Parish Center.
