Registration forms for CCD classes for this upcoming year are available on the parish website and at the doors of church. Seventh and eighth grade students not attending Catholic Central and desiring to be confirmed must be registered for CCD. Similarly, second grade students not attending Catholic school, must attend CCD classes in order to receive Reconciliation and First Communion. Catholic education is an ongoing process, not just reserved for sacrament years. The more children learn about their faith and grow in faith, the greater an understanding and relationship they will have with God. CCD classes began Sept. 8, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Registration fees are $25.00 per child. Fees help cover expenses of textbooks and supplies.
The sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated this school year on March 19, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. The scheduling for this sacrament has been revised and will take place within the cooperative parishes. For this new rotation, Confirmation will be celebrated at St. Bernard Parish; St. Teresa will host the celebration in 2022. Classes in preparation for Confirmation will take place in the home parishes. If you know of anyone interested in receiving this sacrament and has not received written information as yet, please call the parish office. Adults interested in being confirmed, please call the office. Adult preparation is handled separately and is celebrated at the Easter Vigil which is held this year at St. Teresa.

This does not affect your fuel points and no further action beyond presenting your Plus Card is necessary. We currently profit about $1,800 a year. Your participation is greatly appreciated. Chelsea Martinez, at the parish office, can enroll you with a phone call.
